Job Description:
This position is responsible for overseeing all Electrical Maintenance workers who are involved in the preventative maintenance of production machinery and facility electrical equipment. The Electrical Manager takes a hands-on approach to managing technical projects and troubleshooting electrical issues.


Essential Duties:
• Plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of Electrical Maintenance workers
• Manages technical projects from conception to completion with a hands-on approach
• Manages financial budgets of various projects
• Enforces safety and health guidelines amongst employees
• Assists in the interview and hiring process of Electrical Maintenance employees
• Contributes to the training and evaluations of all direct reports
• Provides technical support for electrical functions
• Inspects and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions as needed
• Maintains plant engineering standards and compliance
• Files for required inspections (state, local, etc.)
• Oversees calibration program for production equipment and test equipment
• Drafts, reviews, and authorizes calibration procedures
• Drafts bill of materials required for projects
• Submits and reviews quote requests for electrical parts and production equipment
• Plans and directs inventory purchasing of required parts for stock as well as project needs.

• Class “A” Master Electricians License
• NFPA 70E Electrical Safety
• Strong PLC skills
• Skilled with automation programming software
• Experienced with Microsoft Excel, Solid Works, and AutoCAD
• Strong electrical skills
• Previous manufacturing experience is strongly preferred
• Experience with budget and cost management is a plus
• Former management and leadership experience is ideal

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is preferred (Electrical, Industrial Electronics, etc.)
