Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Analyze material and labor costs, set procedures and standards, and review bids
• Coordinate the preparation of schematic designs, drawings, calculations, and make material and equipment selections

• Develop project description, budget and schedule and prepare business case requests as necessary for submission for project approvals and to secure funding
• Recommend the contractors, suppliers, and equipment vendors
• Prepare scopes of work, contracts and purchase requisitions for approval (including specifications, warranty requirements, maintenance manuals, spare parts, delivery requirements, vendor start-up and training where required)
• Conduct routine project meetings, prepare and distribute meeting minutes

• Assures compliance with all safety and environmental standards and regulations pertaining to cleanliness, particulate matter, noise and security
• Responsible for installation/commissioning acceptance documentation and preparation and revision of site procedures and as-built drawings

• Enforce safety and health guidelines for all

 

Requirements include but are not limited to:
• BS degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
• 4-5 years of relevant experience within facilities supporting corporate offices, manufacturing, and laboratory research activities
• Demonstrated proficiency to oversee multiple activities at one time
• Ability to define problems, determine root cause, draw valid conclusions and make sound recommendations
• Experience and/or knowledge of general maintenance trades
• Understanding of instrumentation, mechanical and electrical systems and maintenance practices
• Aptitude to read drawings and create engineered reports and procedures
• Financial management and budgeting abilities
• Proficiency in the use of AutoCad software
• Project Management experience strongly preferred
