Job Description: Our plastics manufacturing client in beautiful Santa Rosa, CA is looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer. Join this established company in a wonderful location, excellent benefits that start the first day and competitive salary.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead the Organization in developing new technologies and people
• Manage and coordinate activities of engineering department to design, manufacture, assemble and test products/systems. This will include the implementation of new products/processes into production, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures.
• Manage and coordinate activities of engineering department to design and manufacture processes that meet the customer requirements and achieve the outlined profit margin and timelines
• Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contractual requirements and related specifications

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years in the Injection Molding Industry.
• Must show leadership skills and be a good motivator of people
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
• Strong technical and proposal writing skills. Must have strong presentation skills
• Ability to exercise strong judgment in analyzing, evaluating and solving problems
• Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, customers and all vendors
• Must have strong computer skills to include the knowledge of a variety of computer software applications to include MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, IQMS, Acrobat, CAD, etc.
• Tooling and injection molding experience is preferred
• Experienced in product development &/or program/project management.
• Working knowledge of ISO and quality standards. Preferred to have Validation experience as related to medical devices.
• Skilled in leadership and in developing people. Ability to lead and embrace change. Team oriented.
• Strong communication, analytical/problem solving, negotiation, time management and planning skills
