Job Description: A leading PLASTIC injection molding facility in New Bern, North Carolina is searching for a Project Manager. Company is International owned and offers excellent salary, benefits and relocation assistance. Must be out of the Injection Molding Industry.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Management of project proposals to determine time frame, procedures and resources needed at each phase of project
• Monitoring new products until start of production
• Use of root cause analysis to determine cause of non-conforming plastics issues
• Develop project plans, goals, strategy, staffing and scheduling
• Studying projects both new and ongoing, for complete optimization
• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel
• Establish procedures for project reporting and documentation
• Develop and maintain technical and project documentation
• Obtain customer satisfaction and acceptance testing and project sign off completing
• Prepare project status reports and keep management, clients and other informed of project status and related issues

 

Requirements include but are not limited to:
• 5 years working knowledge of Plastics, project management principles, practices, techniques and tools
• Skill in examining operation, procedures, implementing new strategies and formulating policy
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to analyze and perform in-depth work analysis
• Ability to use computers and related software
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in team environment
• Be able to direct and manage a team
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with multi projects

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Industrial Engineering
