Job Description: A leading PLASTIC injection molding facility in Greenville, South Carolina is searching for a Quality Manager. Company offers excellent benefits salary and relocation assistance. Great company with growth potential with multiple locations.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Manage all quality aspects for injection molded parts
• Supervise, train & develop quality team
• Manage budgets to include customer charge backs, (IE-Return Material Authorizations, Debit Memos, etc.)
• Strong quality systems background with experience in TS16949
• Work with top management on establishing company policies, operation procedures, goals and objectives
• Monitor scrap and take action for continuous improvement
• Implement quality systems and develop operational procedures
• Data management to include data compilation, trend analyses and data interpretation
• Work with problem solving tools such as: Fishbone, 5-Why and A3 thinking
• Confer with engineers about quality of new products designed and manufactured
• Representative for quality management systems and serve as Champion in implementations of TQM principles
• Work with customers on quality issues and travel to sites
• Must be able to complete quality audits and documentation for those
• Able to have active role in PPAP and APQP


Requirements include but are not limited to:
• 4-5 years experience in Quality Management in a high volume manufacturing facility
• Strong technical skills and understanding of statistics
• Must be able to manage and develop the quality team
• Experience working with customers and all departments regarding quality issues
• Experience working in plastic injection molding a plus
• Must have experience with, IATF, ISO, TS16949, Lean, Six Sigma and 5S
• Must be able to work on multiple task and make sound decisions
• Written, verbal and organizational skills
• Facilitate and implement and maintenance of the TQM process
• Must be able to travel to customer sites as needed
• Develop and implement quality management system and environmental systems through manufacturing plant


Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business or engineering preferred
