Job Description: Our plastics manufacturing client in Santa Rosa, CA is searching for a talented Senior Quality Engineer. This is a beautiful location with an established company, offering excellent benefits starting the first day. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Develop strong relationships with customer’s quality units
• Lead new product introductions and contract reviews from a QA perspective
• Lead quality engineering engagement with customers (internal/external) during early project stages
• Lead and coordinate maintenance of PFMEA’s and Control Plans
• Lead and execute experimental studies and reviews, including CTQ’s, GD&T, Gage R&R, DOE’s, and Capability Studies
• Develop and drive execution of validation activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ requirements
• Preparing and updating procedures, protocols, reports, and associated documentation
• Participate in leadership for Material Review Board (MRB) activities, to ensure that non-conforming product is properly investigated 
• Responsible for evaluating customer complaints and driving response and resolution in a timely manner.
• Leading Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities, to investigate causes on non-conformances and implement actions to prevent re-occurrence
• Use relational databases and reporting tools to collate and analyze quality data; have knowledge and use statistical data analysis tools
• Provide guidance and direction to quality technicians as required

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• BS degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent and/or relevant training and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience
• Strong hands on knowledge of FDA and ISO Quality Systems for medical device desirable
• Injection molding experience is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Solid mechanical and measurement aptitude
• Strong statistical analysis skills
• Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and ability to work on own initiative essential
• Excellent written and reporting skills
